Ruins of the Russian Naval base where it was moved 1834-36. The old Russian Naval base was built 1806 close to the canal area. In 1834, the Greek State bought the Russian Naval base at Poros and founded the First Naval base of Greece. But the Russians decided to build a new warehouse, and that is the ruins in the Russian bay. Russian bay is today a popular beach.
