The whole area is built for tourism only. This is the widest beach of them all.
There are many hotels in Askeli, so they need a wide beach. This beach is
like the most; sand and stones. A little warning though: They have found
sea-urchins in the water. Take care when you swim so you don't step on them.
There are lots of tavernas on the other sida of the road, and there is a
water-sport centre in the middle of the beach. You can waterski, ride a
banana, or go parasailing. You can come here by taxi-boat from Poros.
